In honor of the late, great Billy Mays. So classy. Last night was pretty ridiculous as we went on a mad dash to find The Brave Little Toaster cause Liz hasn't seen it yet. After we DIDN'T find it, we stocked up on cheap alcohol (score! $5 wine!) and went back to Tom's to play Cranium, watch Zack and Miri Make a Porno and eat Chinese food. I nearly finished the bottle by myself and I felt great today. I'm like, the queen of no-hangovers.

To follow up yesterday's post, I am now boat-ready with my very own life jacket! Safety first people. I'd like to take a minute to talk about something socially relevant, though grossly over-analyzed: Jon and Kate Plus 8. I have no sympathy left for either of them, as they brought this mess onto themselves by insisting that they have a reality show. I just feel terrible for the kids who will have to deal with so much shit when they grow up, as if they don't already deal with enough now. It's all for the ratings and as TLC so blatantly showed tonight (when they decided to re-air the record breaking episode from last night), they really don't care about exploiting a tough family situation for the entertainment of millions of viewers. Then again, I'll admit that I was watching yesterday and adding to the ratings. What an ironic bundle of contradictions I am!

I swear, I'm not slowly ending the blog, I just haven't been up to sharing my day with ya'll every night recently. I've taken to bouts of internet-less days to try this new thing called "reading", which usually ends up with me disoriented at 2 in the morning when I realize how long I let it go on. I just finished one of my new favorite books (ever) called The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruis Zafron. It's basically a masterpiece. Also, did I mention that I'm psychic? I just picked up two other books to read that I can't decide between the two and I see that for one, the movie is coming out in a month and the other was just randomly reccomended in a forum for a book I just read. I've seen nothing about either for years and they both pop up within an hour. Also again, my dad bought a canoe cause he's in a midlife crisis and thinks he's Davey Crocket.

Well today, I woke up. And went to school. Came home and napped with Charlie. As you can see, he sleeps in strange ways with his head and body going in opposite directions. I think he gets that from me. After napping, I woke up again! And finished my Fafsa earlier than I did last year. Then I went out for ice cream at Friendly's with certain people who are dissatisfied with the way that I post content in my blog! So there.

I can't even begin to tell you how it feels when it's windy, wet and cold and you're wearing very little clothing. Len and I went to see the Decemberists at the Bank of America Pavilion and we were so freezing that we were totally going to leave early. But we kept our heads up and stuck through it rather than to high tail it out of there! It was a lot of fun and dancing like a fool, even when there is no music, is probably the best substitute for a warm jacket in such a situation.

After my lab today, at which we were the first ones done (Perhaps done wrong then? Most likely.), I played some fabulous tennis with Michelle. I believe I'm getting better! Just kidding. It's fun to pretend that I'm getting better though. Then we went to Sam Diego's in Plymouth which is heinously far away. I had a delicious Bay Breeze-something. A creepy man in a scally cap stalked us, basically. And Michelle turned chatty. Not with the stalker but with me, I mean.

I may like documentaries about weird and disfiguring diseases but I swear National Geographic is going to give me nightmares tonight. I watched programs about a little girl in India who was born with eight limbs, a man in China whose 50lb tumor needed to be removed and about a colony of lepers. So horrific.

This is only the saddest movie ever, basically. We watched it after dinner at Acapulcos, which we have now learned must only be eaten on nights that are not the weekend. It was packed and they gave us margaritas sans alcohol even though we asked for it and showed ids and everything. Earlier I bought a cute new dress and visited Kara at work. Ridiculousness ensued.

Busy day today! I had my first chemistry test and it went okay. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, as far as I know now. My luck would have it that it was only easy because I got everything wrong. I went out with Kara to sit out in the sun by her dad's pool, after slathering myself with sunscreen first obviously. We had game night at the store where we were supposed to play games with customers who came in. There were appetizers and wine and everything and NO ONE came. Then we went to Jamie's for a night under the stars by the chiminea.

After class, Leonard and I decided to attempt a visit to one of the remaining Baja Fresh's left in the area. As our luck would have it, it was also gone. So we went to P.F. Chang's instead! We had gelatinous soup (at least his tasted good! My egg drop soup was weird.) and two tasty chicken dishes with a side of mushrooms. Mmm! It was all very delicious. Then we hung around at home and watched the E3 coverage on tv. I feel so included in nerd-world!

I find that I always have to cause some sort of a scene, wherever I go. Today it was at this teeny tiny Marylou's. Little did I know that the structure attached to the back of the Marylou's was someone's house with a back door that leads into a nice looking kitchen, not a cute little add-on with a nice porch for customers to drink coffee on.

As I had kind of a crappy day, Megan and Jon took me out for a drink to Joe's American Bar and Grill in Hanover. It was such a cool bar! It was all lofty and stuff. There was this guy that people call "Redman" hanging out at the bar and he would like, jump up and pace the floor and run out of the room and come back. He'd move his seat down closer to us and be all kinds of creepy. He wasn't wearing his signature red though, so that's disappointing.
